Stakeholders Meeting
On September 30, 2003, the California Workforce Investment Board (State Board) received a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy, to Improve Transition Outcomes For Youth With Disabilities.
The Improving Transition Outcomes for Youth with Disabilities Partnership (ITOP) is a diverse group of stakeholders working towards a common objective to improve transition outcomes for youth with disabilities. The Stakeholder group will assist in the statewide assessment of the existing youth service infrastructure and in the development of a cross-agency multi-year state plan to improve transition outcomes for youth with disabilities. ITOP membership is an opportunity for you to influence the direction the State of California takes in this mission.
The ITOP met on August 17 –18, 2004 in Sacramento at the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza to work collaboratively on developing new strategies on improving transition outcomes for youth with disabilities.
